Resurface products outperform concrete in durability, safety, and maintenance. Unlike concrete, which cracks, stains, and deteriorates over time, Resurface materials are flexible, impact-resistant, and designed to withstand heavy traffic and extreme weather without damage.
Faster installation means minimal downtime, and with no need for sealing or repairs, Resurface saves time and money in the long run. Stronger, smarter, and maintenance-free—it's the better choice for high-performance spaces.
Rubber Stone and Vuba Stone both offer durable, high-performance surfaces, but they serve different needs:
- Rubber Stone is made from high-quality recycled rubber mixed with a strong binding agent, creating a flexible, impact-absorbing, and slip-resistant surface. It’s ideal for areas needing shock absorption, safety, and comfort, such as playgrounds, walkways, and garages. It also withstands extreme temperature fluctuations without cracking.
- Vuba Stone is a resin-bound aggregate system, combining natural stone with industrial-strength resin for a rigid, seamless, and decorative finish. It offers a high-end, polished look while still being permeable and highly durable, making it great for driveways, patios, and commercial spaces.
Both materials are weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and long-lasting, but Rubber Stone prioritizes flexibility and comfort, while Vuba Stone focuses on strength and aesthetics.
The largest difference between our product and those of other rubber paving companies is the quality of our colored rubber. We use the highest-grade EPDM colored rubber and don’t paint our rubber chips. This ensures your rubber surface will stay true to color and look great longer.
Most jobs only take a day to complete, depending on the size and complexity of the project. We will provide you with a timeline when we deliver a quote.
The colors and binding agent are mixed on site. Then, the mix is hand troweled down onto the existing surface.
It takes 24 hours of curing time to be able to walk on it. It takes 72 hours of curing time to be able to drive on it.
We typically install at 3/8 of an inch for a tightly packed installation. We can go thicker if your project requires more fill in certain areas.
Compared to full concrete replacement, resurfacing is a more cost-effective solution, offering enhanced durability, slip resistance, and a polished finish with minimal downtime.

Yes! All of our resurfacing products are designed to handle snow removal without damage.
- Rubber Stone – Flexible and impact-resistant, it won’t crack or chip under a shovel or snow blower. Use a plastic shovel or snow blower with rubber paddles to avoid excessive wear.
- Vuba Stone – Its sealed, resin-bound surface allows for easy shoveling without loosening the stone. Avoid metal shovels with sharp edges to maintain longevity.
- Aspire Pavers – Built to withstand extreme cold and heavy snow, they can be safely shoveled or cleared with a snow blower without risk of cracking or shifting.
- ShopShield Flooring – Snow, ice, and road salt won’t damage the sealed, non-porous surface. Simply shovel, sweep, or rinse to keep it clean.
For best results, use a rubber-edged shovel or broom and avoid excessive force to keep your surface in top shape all winter long!
Yes!
Our resurfacing products are designed to handle harsh winter conditions, freezing temperatures, and heavy snow without cracking, shifting, or deteriorating. Unlike traditional concrete, which can pit, crack, and heave from freeze-thaw cycles, our surfaces are built to be flexible, durable, and resistant to moisture absorption.
Many options are permeable, allowing water to drain through and preventing ice buildup, while others are non-porous, resisting damage from de-icing salts and snow removal. With minimal maintenance, your surface will stay strong, safe, and looking great all winter long.
Our resurfacing products are designed to handle heavy rain and moisture without damage, ensuring a safe, slip-resistant, and long-lasting surface in any weather. Many options, like Vuba Stone, are fully permeable, allowing water to drain through and preventing puddles or standing water.
Others, like Rubber Stone and ShopShield flooring, feature sealed, non-porous surfaces that repel water and resist stains, keeping them easy to clean and maintain.
Unlike traditional concrete, which can crack, absorb moisture, and develop puddles, these surfaces stay intact, durable, and safer to walk on—even in wet conditions.
It is a porous product, so it is not waterproof. It does help with immediate water runoff, but water will seep through if there is continuous rainfall or sitting water.
In most cases, resurfacing projects do not require permits since they involve upgrading an existing surface rather than new construction. However, permit requirements vary by location, project size, and specific regulations in your area. For commercial properties, driveways, or large-scale installations, it’s always a good idea to check with your local municipality to ensure compliance with zoning laws or building codes.
In most cases, no demolition is required. Our resurfacing solutions are designed to be installed directly over existing concrete, asphalt, or other stable surfaces, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming removal.
Each of our resurfacing products is designed for easy maintenance, requiring minimal effort to keep them looking great.
- Rubber Stone – Simply pressure wash or hose it down to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, a mild detergent and soft brush can be used. A topcoat refresh every 3-5 years keeps it looking like new.
- Vuba Stone – A quick sweep or rinse removes dirt and dust, while its permeable design allows water to drain through, preventing buildup. For deeper cleaning, a gentle pressure wash is recommended.
- Aspire Pavers – Designed to resist stains and dirt, they can be cleaned with a hose, mild soap, and a soft-bristle brush. Occasional sweeping prevents debris from accumulating in joints.
- ShopShield Flooring – The non-porous, sealed surface repels dirt, oil, and chemicals. Just sweep, mop, or rinse with water and mild soap to keep it spotless. Unlike traditional concrete, it won’t absorb stains or require sealing.
With these low-maintenance solutions, keeping your surface clean is quick and effortless!
